Create a one-of-a-kind piece of botanical art inspired by nature’s beautiful details.  In this hands-on workshop, participants will select from fresh cut flowers, blooms, leaves and grasses, to create a detailed impression in clay. You’ll learn how to carefully arrange and press your chosen flowers to capture their unique textures, veins, and shapes.  Once your impression design is complete, you’ll pour plaster into a frame(s) of your choice to create a lasting botanical plaster casting.  Choose from a variety of shapes and sizes for your “frame.”  Every piece is unique, making this a wonderful opportunity to create a meaningful keepsake, personalized home décor, or a thoughtful handmade gift. While waiting for your plaster to cure, head to the flower field to harvest your own cut flower bouquet! Fresh flowers, floral art, a serene setting… what more could you want?!
